THANK YOU VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS CRAFT CHALLENGE ~ ANY VOTES MADE AFTER 8PM WILL NOT BE COUNTED. THE WINNER AND RUNNERS UP WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT 9PM.
Welcome to The Crafty Network Blog Craft Challenge. We are now asking for people to VOTE for their favourite entry from the selection of entries below, to enable us to declare a Winner and 2 Runners Up of this challenge on Friday evening.
(Not sure what this is all about, then please visit: Challenge Rules and see details about the theme for this challenge in the previous post.)
I think this has to be one of my favourite themes this year as I just love the colours of autumn. 19 people have taken up the challenge with some excellent entries this week. All they need now is your support by taking on the difficult task of voting for your favourite!
THE VOTING!
In order to declare a WINNER of this Competition, we need YOU our lovely Followers to comment below this post quoting the No. of the photo you like best. For those of you who are undecided, you can vote for more than one, but limit it to choosing just 3 and please make it clear which is your first, second and third choice.
ie. No. 1 = 3pts (1st choice), No. 2 = 2pts (2nd choice), No. 6 = 1pt (3rd choice).
If you pick just one, this will count as 3 points.
You can also send in your votes via email if you wish to: thecraftynetwork@gmail.com or message me via the TCN Facebook page
(Please Note: The Crafty Network, will not use or retain your email addresses for any marketing purposes and once the vote has been counted, your emails will be deleted).
*************************************************************************************************************************
The voting will close at 8PM on FRIDAY and the winner with the most points will be announced at 9PM, along with the 2 runners-up.
*************************************************************************************************************************

15. Milly and Me ~ www.facebook.com/millyandme
All ready for Halloween… this prim crow is perched on a branch with lovely autumn leaves and pip berries :). Crow is made from black cotton fabric with black bead and painted eyes, and has been coated with a coffee and cinnamon mix and oven baked for a wonderful prim effect. The leaves are made from pretty autumnal colour cotton fabrics, backed with felt and top stitched onto wire stems. They have been glued and taped to the branch (a covered willow stick), together with stems of pip berries.
The branch measures approx 34cms from end to end, including the end leaves, and has one ‘invisible’ hanging loop attached to the top of crow’s head.

19. Me Makey You Likey ~ www.facebook.com/memakeyyoulikey
Cross stitch cushion, it was from a French pattern (obviously!) and reads “To think is to search for clearing in the forest”. Although not completely autumnal, with the trees being red it did may me think of a forest with autumn colours when I was stitching it!

This is a nightmare!! How on earth do I choose?!! With the risk of being considered fussy, I’m going to be really fussy! The photo one of these items isn’t great and that affects my decision, as the appeal of the item is lost through our only contact with the item, which is the photo. Another item is fairly basic (gosh that sounds awful) yet the photos of them are really effective. I can’t speak though because I’m not a photographer but I’m just saying that it really does impact on your impression of the item, so making a few bits of effort can really help.
Right, enough of my rambling, it’s decision time:
1= No.14-handcrafted by Picto – brilliant work Jan! Love it!
2= No.2 -crafty bags
3= No.5- VB pure designs
Right, now I’m off to look at wall art and cardigan related websites!
