The Crafty Network ~ 25th July Mini Challenge "Sun, Sea & Sand"

Picture this; a long sandy beach, the sea lapping at your toes, the palms tree swaying gently in the breeze, the sun shining down, the smell of sun tan lotion, a good book, a nice refreshing ice-cold cocktail or beer and then next minute you wake and it’s pouring down with rain, it’s cold and windy and the kids are already moaning there is nothing to do, welcome back to the reality of a British Summer!

Yes it’s that time of year again; the expectation of a British Summer, no school for 5/6 weeks and 2 weeks holiday booked somewhere nice I hope?

So this is going to be the last challenge before we take a break for the Summer Holidays, don’t worry it will be back at the beginning of September!  The theme for this challenge is “Sun, Sea & Sand”, obviously I’m not looking for crafts just based on the Sun, Sea and Sand, it’s anything as long as it has a Summer or Holidays theme (you can also include rain in that, as that seems to be what our British summers have more off these days!) it’s whatever summer and the holidays means to you.  It can also be something you have made to entertain the kids during the holidays, something to take away on holiday or something that reminds you of holidays.

Please interpret the theme however you wish, all you have to remember, it must be handmade.  Look at what you have already made, as I don’t expect you to make something specifically for the challenge, unless of course you want to.

Good luck everyone, fingers crossed you are inspired to send in an entry and please be brave enough to join in and send in a photo of your crafts just look at it as another way to promote your business and I’d love to encourage everyone to have a go!
